nuts and bolts

If you are like me, you love to have something to nibble on when you are entertaining your guests. Nuts and bolts have been the winner in my books for many years. You can't beat the homemade taste of nuts and bolts; they are always bursting with flavour. This is a great snack mix because you can make several batches each with a different flavour and then seal in an air tight container for storage. Pull it out just before your guests arrive. Quick and Easy!
 Ingredients
  • 1 box Cheerios
  • 4 cups pretzels
  • 1 box Shreddies
  • 2 1/2 cups blanched peanuts
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans, & brazils)
  • 1 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp celery salt
  • 1 Tbsp onion salt
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon pepper
Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 121 degrees Celsius or 250 degrees fahrenheit
  • In a large roasting pan, mix all ingredients thoroughly
  • Bake for 2 hours, stir occasionally
